Bronx Arenas & Stadiums
One of the most hallowed parks in baseball, Yankee Stadium has been a New York landmark since its inaugural game on April 18, 1923. Also known as the House that Ruth Built (since Babe Ruth brought capacity crowds to the stadium) and the Home of Champions (with over 25 World championships), Yankee Stadium continues to bring baseball to the faithful fans of New York City. A range of stadium tours are offered throughout the year (except in October).
Opened in 2009, Yankee Stadium is the new home to the New York Yankees. The stadium replaced the 1923 Yankee Stadium, which is across the street. The new stadium features over 50,000 seats.
